Welcome to the home of Eveleigh Books & Stamps. We have had great success in helping buyers of both high value rare books and lower value hard to find books. We enjoy the personal touch and will gladly receive your phone call. Our office is open Monday through Friday during business hours (9am - 3pm EST).

Eveleigh Books & Stamps has an inventory of approximately 8,000 books, of which approximately 50% are on-line. We maintain a general stock in many areas, however, we specialize in the following areas: Travel, Cartography, Postal History, Gazetteers, Rare Books, History, Maps, Directories, Ephemera, Americana, and 18th Century or earlier material.

Eveleigh Books & Stamps is primarily an internet store, however, we do exhibit at a few shows each year, and welcome guests on an appointment basis.

Please search or browse our inventory of hard to find, out of print, used, and rare books, and let us know if you have any questions. If you can't find what you like please fill out our off-line search form and we will search our off-line inventory, other bookstores and book search services for you.

Today we received a comment from one of our customers which we very much appreciate.  "The volume of poems by Thomas Gray was delivered safely in Ireland yesterday.  I'm very happy indeed with it--a copy just as nice as you described--and all the wonderful stamps you put on the packet will go towards a local scheme to subsidise a guide dog for the blind."
