This map depicts a continent that remained largely unexplored. The "Mountains of Kong" and the "Mountains of the Moon" divide Africa into north and south. Central Africa is largely unmarked and simply labeled "Ethiopia." Paper's margins are browned, and show some faint dampstains and chipping.
